Precious Metals & Markets Wrap-up: Week Ending November 4 2016

A flat week last week last week with gold stronger but oil took a hit to do most of the evening out. The plus side is that oil has entered another buy zone for us. This means better returns when oil climbs again. Daily trading was kept to our lowest volume for the week and ended flat just like the l...

Precious Metals & Markets Wrap-up: Week Ending October 14 2016

A flat but positive week for us while gold stabilized its recent decline. Oil remained strong, and the $Aussie was steady. More progress was made with our daily trade pursuits last week. The flat trading range in large cap stocks awaits the December FOMC meeting to brace for a decline. There is now ...

Precious Metals & Markets Wrap-up: Week Ending October 7 2016

A sizeable down week after gold broke its support under $1300. Silver of course followed in greater magnitude. This should be short lived as our call for flash in pan market action recently. The large caps have remained steady after the shocks. Oil had a strong week as we off loaded some of our prof...

Precious Metals & Markets Wrap-up: Week Ending September 30 2016

A positive week for us even though our major holding of gold and silver was down for the week. It was oil and $Aussie which advanced our portfolio. It's a steady as she goes consensus for all markets leading up to the November 2 US Presidential Election. One thing we need to watch is the firm suppor...

Re: The Stock Market Bubble About To Burst?

My bet is that support of DB is a done deal. My bet is will have a month of overt market support in place. Re: Nov 2 US vote. Trump = sell off Hilary = pop up in markets.

Re: The Stock Market Bubble About To Burst?

The rich are richer only due to government policy. The rich are also able to lobby more and further their interests. Also inflation favors the rich due to their ability to place money in inflationary assets. But it is also the rich which are more able to provide jobs and desirable goods and services...

Precious Metals & Markets Wrap-up: Week Ending September 23 2016

A good up week on a rebound in all assets from the last couple of down weeks. Our call for a flash in pan scenario is correct for now, as we pass through the historically high risk time of year. We maintain that a premise of currency moves continues to shape world markets, especially since 2014. Fed...

An anecdotal observation from the past I notice is that major tops in stocks and a little later in gold is marked by lows in the USD.

Precious Metals & Markets Wrap-up: Week Ending September 16 2016

A down week on mainly oil driving our weekly outcome down. Gold was down less than oil and the $Aussie as part of our currency hedge was steady. Daily trades were up for the week again but only modestly. The main market drivers again was Fed rate hike talk. The probability of a hike is at 15% at the...
