Wonderful CliffB, I do prefer stacking silver and gold (mainly in scrap jewelry and coin form), but if any coins metal value is above its face value I believe its worth holding on to. I have a few hundred old spanish coins and lots of world copper coins, its not going to get me rich but it is a way of preserving your wealth (how ever small) in a usable form.

Hi TonyJ.
I spend a lot of time searching for good prices on scrap gold, mainly jewelry myself, but the wife usually claims any decent bargains i find mate, but i have found myself looking more at the silver bars lately, for an investment , hopefully my next bar will be a 10oz one

Great finds! The things that are lost then found. I bet my yard might have some coins buried.
