Is silver still worth having with the alternatives that can now be used in industrial uses, with Graphene as a cheaper conductive material plus the company that has registered a patent who have found a way to use aluminium instead of silver in solar panels. It all sounds like if ever the price of silver did go up meaningfully that it would be easy for industry to switch it out for something cheaper. asking you sponsor.

what is your opinion on replica eagles and buffalos? the best selling coins on one reputable dealers site are coins that have the words "copy" written on the back of them. They are still 1 troy ounce of silver, and are almost identical aside from the 'copy' text engraved on the back. They are much closer to spot price than the 'real' eagles and buffalos. What do you think about investing in these?

Don't like the brand at all.

In a SHTF situation (after a total breakdown of society) you're probably correct, silver & gold won't be a lot of use. If you're preparing for SHTF you're probably better off with things like .22 shells & pinto beans. But there are other reasons to invest in precious metals. Silver could become quite valuable following the failure of a currency, a general collapse of government, or a silver shortage. I'm betting on a silver shortage within the next 5 years.
