How would a rate hike affect silver prices this year?

Postby Bounty » 20 August 2016

Would they go higher or lower? Will silver prices be lower or higher if that rate hike occurs this year. The whole Fed. Res. policy is to steal as much money from the American public, without the economy imploding. If it begins to implode, they will start to counterfeit. If it becomes more robust, they will increase interest rates.

If the US moves on rates? I'm just wondering when is it actually gonna happen, I been listening to this same stuff since 2008, it's 2016 now I can't be the only one kinda tired of trying to be ready but it doesn't seem to be playing out.

If you have any doubts about the strength of the US dollar just watch every day how the stockmarket is pushed around by it. When the dollar makes a small jump up watch all the goldbugs fly away and the so called experts hide.

People here in Spain are awake and save. That's why saving Silver & gold is so liberating as we all should save for a private pension in silver & gold. These monetary metals don't owe anyone anything. They are in limited supply. Why let the government or private investment companies invest our hard earned cash in morgage backed securities in similar paper assets that are worthless world wide.

China started setting spot prices for gold and silver, usually a few points over the us price fix, but they insist that you actually have the amount of gold you are trading so you have to own it to trade it, in the us it is all paper and you do not need to actually own anything, this is why it is going wrong, the economy is crashing the currency will fold and then gold and silver will rise a lot :) all by the end of summer :)
